Oh St. Peregrine,
you who have been called "The Wonder-Worker" because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you, who for so many years bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when human power could do no more.
You who were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction, ask of God and Our Lady the cure of these sick persons whom we entrust to you (names of those whom you are praying).
Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall praise God for His great goodness and mercy.
Amen.

St. Jude Prayer for Advent
Lord Jesus,
Your power is infinite, your glory, everlasting.
Quietly you come as a tiny baby.
Ready my heart for the miracle of your birth.
Bring light to this dark world waiting silentely for your warmth in the coldness of the night.
Waiting is itself your gift, animating my heart with anticipation.
Bless me with needed patience and faithful discipline to prayerfully prepare to welcome and greet you.
St Jude, eternal hope, let your holiness flow into me.
May Christmas joy and burning love take root in me and grow until they bloom on Christmas Day to carry joy to the world and inspire hope to renew the face of the earth.
Amen.

A Healing Prayer to St. Jude
Most holy Apostle St. Jude, friend of Jesus,
I place myself in your care at this difficult time.
Pray for me; help me know that I need not face my troubles alone.
Please, join me in my need, asking God to send me consolation in my sorrow, courage in my fear, and healing in the midst of my suffering.
Ask our loving God to fill me with the grace to accept whatever may lie ahead for me and my loved ones and to strengthen my faith in God's healing power.
Thank you St. Jude for the promise of hope you hold out to all who believe and inspire me to give this gift of hope to others as it has been given to me.
Amen.

A Prayer to The Little Flower
St. Therese, Child of God,
like you we are sometimes willful and make bad decisions.
We refuse to budge, even against the movement of grace. Yet, we wake up and feel the urge to do the right thing -- to allow our inner child of grace and wonder to chase dreams and pursue God.
Teach us to run through the raindrops of life to that safe and sacred place in God's heart.
As only a child can understand, empower us to pursue that call to holiness -- to understand that God is always running to embrace and meet us.
Please, don't let the tear drops of our lives dampen our enthusiasm for God, lessen the longing of our hearts, not blind us to Jesus racing toward us with open arms.
Amen.

Prayer to St. Jude for Eternal Life
You are my solace, St. Jude, in the face of loss and sorrow.
I pray that you will guide my heart away from the darkness of fear and into the light of Christ.
May the hope that St. Jude keeps alive in my heart be a source of comfort to all those who grieve.
For in that hope, we know God's tender mercy, and we trust God's promise of eternal life.
My soul longs for the fullness of life, which will be revealed to me when I am at God's right hand in heaven.
Stay by my side, St. Jude, so that my soul will always know the power of your healing love.
Amen.

Prayer to Jesus and St. Jude
Dear Lord Jesus,
You know of pain and of suffering, of death and of losing someone you love.
Comfort those who are dying and welcome those who have passed away.
Rest a gentle hand on those whose loved ones have died.
Grant them peace.
Remind them that their friend, St. Jude. hears all prayers.
Share with them the hope of everlasting life.
Amen.

Prayer to St. Peregrine

St. Peregrine
St. Peregrine,
You answered your calling with a ready spirit, and gave up the comforts of a life of ease to dedicate yourself to Jesus and His Holy Mother.
You labored for the salvation of souls. In union with Jesus, you endured painful sufferings with such patience that you were healed of an incurable cancer in your leg by a touch of His divine hand.
Help me to answer every call of God and to fulfill His will in all the events of life. Place in my heart a consuming desire for the salvation of all.
Deliver me from the infirmities that afflict my body, and help me to willingly accept the sufferings that are sent to me so that, imitating our crucified Savior and his sorrowful Mother, I may one day be united with them in heave.
Amen

The Promises of Our Lord To Saint Margaret Mary
For Souls Devoted To His Sacred Heart

I will give them all the graces necessary in their state of life.
I will establish peace in their houses.
I will comfort them in all their afflictions.
I will be their secure refuge during life and, above all, in death.
I will bestow a large blessing upon all their undertakings.
Sinners shall find in my Heart the source and the infinite ocean of mercy.
Tepid souls shall grow fervent.
Fervent souls shall quickly mount to high perfection.
I will bless every place where a picture of My Sacred Heart shall be set up and honored.
I will give to Priest the gift of touching the most hardened hearts.
Those who shall promote this devotion shall have their names written in My Heart, never to be blotted out.
I promise You in the excessive mercy of My Heart that My all-powerful love will grant to all those who communicate on the First Friday of nine consecutive months the grace of final penitence; they shall not die in my displeasure nor without receiving the Sacraments; My Divine Heart shall be their safe refuge in this last moment.

Genuine Love
I desire to love you, O my God, with a love that is patient, with a love that abandons itself wholly to you, with a love that acts, and most important of all, with a love that perseveres.
Just as one who loves a creature thinks of it often, so let the lover of God have him often in his thoughts.
The mirror into which we must look in order to attain divine love is Jesus Christ.
If the actions of our neighbors had a hundred sides, we ought to look at them on the best side.
When an action is blameworthy, we should strive to see the good intentions back of it.
Let us do everything for love and, remembering that love longs for love alone, nothing can appear hard to us.

Prayer to Saint Jude
O glorious Apostle St. Jude Thaddeus, faithful servant and friend of Jesus,
The name of traitor has caused you to be forgotten by many, but the Church honors invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases and of things despaired of.
Pray for me that I may receive the consolations and succor of Heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings particularly (here make your request) and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity.
Amen.

Words of Wisdom by St. Bernard
If you follow her guidance, you will not go astray.
If you pray to her, you will not give up hope.
If you think of her, you will not go wrong.
If she upholds you, you will not stumble.
If she protects you, you will not be afraid.
If she leads you, you will reach the goal.

Mother Teresa:
In The Shadow of Our Lady
Mother Teresa never fails to inspire me. Every time I read a book dedicated to her, I learn something new about my favorite saint. Mother Teresa: In the Shadow of Our Lady
is no exception.
I need to to make a confession. I got very busy with work. I had a limited time to read any books. I chose to read this book because it's short. It's less than 100 pages.
Things happen for a reason. This book is very different than the other books that focus on Mother Teresa's journey with Jesus. In this book, the author focuses on her journey with Mother Mary.
I never thought of the relationship between Mother Mary and Mother Teresa before reading this book. The book shows how the two saints lives intersected in many ways even though they lived in different times.
Now that I have read the book, I can draw parallels between the two saints. For that, I'm so glad I chose this book to read between my busy work and family commitments.

Canticle of The Creatures

All praise be yours, My Lord,
through all that you have made.
And first my lord Brother Sun, who brings the day....
How beautiful is he, how radiant in all his splendor!
Of you, Most High, he bears the likeness.
All praise be yours, my Lord, through Sister Moon and Stars;
In the heavens you have made them, bright and precious and fair.
All praise be yours, my Lord, through Brothers Wind and Air....
All praise be yours, my Lord, through Sister Water,
So useful, lowly, precious and pure.
All praise be yours, my Lord, through Brother Fire,
through whom you brighten up the night....
All praise be yours, my Lord, through Sister Earth, our mother,
Who feeds us...and produces various fruits
With colored flowers and herbs....
Praise and bless my Lord, and give him thanks,
And serve him with great humility.

Prayer To Saint Joseph
God our father and Creator,
You bestow on us gifts and talents to develop and use in accord with Your will.
Grant to me, through the intercession of St. Joseph the worker, as model and guide, employment and work, that I may, with dignity, provide for those who depend on me for care and support.
Grant me the opportunities to use my energy and my talents and abilities for the good of all, and the glory of Your name.
Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Faith, Hope and Love According to St. Paul
From the first letter of St. Paul to the Corinthians:
Brothers and sisters:
Love is patient, love is kind.
It is not jealous, it is not pompous,
it is not inflated, it is not rude,
it does not seek its own interests,
it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury,
it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth.
It bears all things, believes all things,
hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails.
If there are prophecies, they will be brought to nothing;
if tongues, they will cease;
if knowledge, it will be brought to nothing.
For we know partially and we prophesy partially,
but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away.
When I was a child, I used to talk as a child,
think as a child, reason as a child;
when I became a man, I put aside childish things.
At present we see indistinctly, as in a mirror,
but then face to face.
At present I know partially;
then I shall know fully, as I am fully known.
So faith, hope, love remain, these three;
but the greatest of these is love.

Prayer To Our Mother of Perptual Help
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come; before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen!
